Volume contest with Nitro and Hagström

1. ELIGIBILITY The participant must be a Canadian citizen. Employees, representatives and administrators of NRB Sports Inc (Nitro Canada) and Erikson (Jam) their affiliated companies, representatives, agents, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate family members and any person residing with them are not eligible to participate. No purchase required to enter for a chance to win. The contest starts on October 15 2009 until January 7th 2010 at noon (Eastern time).

2. ENTRY To enter, participants must fill out and submit their online registration form at www.hagstromnitrovolumecontest.com. By entering the contest, participants agree to abide by this rule. SUBMITTING AN ENTRY CONSTITUTES THE IRREVOCABLE ASSIGNMENT, CONVEYANCE AND TRANSFERENCE TO THE ORGANIZER OF ALL RIGHTS, TITLE, INTEREST, AND ALL RESIDUAL INTERESTS REGARDING THE ENTRY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO ALL COPYRIGHTS AND RENEWALS AND EXTENSIONS THEREOF.

3. RESTRICTIONS CONCERNING SUBMISSIONS To be valid, names submitted must: (1) be intelligible and respect elementary rules of word formation; (2) not contain a trademark, company name or personal name; (3) must not violate or transgress the rights of a third person, company, or entity, including, but not limited to the right to privacy, to advertising rights or intellectual property or copyright; (4) not have any indecent, obscene, profane, denigrating, hateful or defamatory connotation.

4. PRIZE A total of $8004 retail value. (6) six draws will be made . 3 Ultra Volume guitares of a value of $700 each, 3 Nitro Volume snowboards of a value of $400 each, 6 Korg Kaossilator of a value of $249 each, 24 Nitro Hoodies Nitro of a value of $105 and  24 Hagsrtöm Baseball cap of a value of $25 each.

At each draw, 3 prices will be awarded.  (1st) First prize awarded: A Hagström guitar Ultra Swede Limited Edition or a Nitro Volume Snowboard and a Nitro Hoodie and a Hagström baseball cap, (2nd) second prize awarded: a Korg Kassilator and a Nitro Hoodie and a Hagström baseball cap, (3rd) third prize awarded: Nitro Hoodie and Hagstrom baseball cap. 

5. GENERAL RULES The contest sponsor and/or their representatives reserve the right at all times and at their discretion to do the following: (a) apply reasonable restrictions on the availability or use of the prize or any aspect of the prize and (b) substitute the prize or any aspect of the prize, no matter what the reason, provided that the prize or any aspect of the prize substituted is of comparable value. The contest winner releases and holds harmless the contest sponsor and its affiliates if the services offered are not entirely satisfactory. The approximate retail price of the prize is $8000 CND. NRB SPORTS INC. (NitroCanada) will award the prize and supply details to the winner once confirmed

6. CLAIMING OF PRIZE (6) Six draws will be made by an independent agency in Montreal at neen (Eastern time): October 29th2009, November 12th2009, November 26 2009, December 10 2009, December 24th 2009 and January 7th 2010. Name of winners will be posted on the contest Internet site www.hagstromnitrovolumecontest.com within 48hrs after the draw. The winner will be contacted by phone and must first correctly answer a skill‐testing mathematical question. To obtain the prize, winner must sign a Release Form which must be returned within 30 days following its reception otherwise the winner will be disqualified and another draw will be made.

7. PUBLICATION By participating, contestants agree to be bound by the rules of the contest and the decisions of the independent organizers of the contest. In addition, contestants agree to allow, without compensation, for the use of their photos, videos and name of city or town of residence for publicity purposes on all advertising campaigns including the sponsor’s Internet website. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non‐transferable. No monetary value will be awarded in lieu of prize nor can the prize be substituted for another, sold or exchanged.

8. La régie des alcohols, des courses et des jeux has no affiliation to this contest and cannot be held responsible in any way to any aspect of this contest.

9. All decisions of the contest sponsors are final and binding. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

10. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcohols, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
